On 2nd of April, Baku Olympic Stadium hosted World Autism Awareness Day organized by "Narinj Child Psychology Center” and "Autism Association and psychological assistance center”, at the same time stadium’s façade was lighted blue like a symbol of autism.
This event was visited by representatives of government and non-governmental organizations, representatives of embassies and Turkish experts, media representatives, prominent national actors and theologians, as well as children with syndrome of autism, parents and other guests.
Based on official data from the military, all heroes who were killed during the course of the event in the front zone were remembered with deep regret and minute of silence.
The event consisted of official and unofficial parts. The first word in the organization of the event was given to the heads of institutions. Psychologist Elnur Rustamov, head of Child Psychology Center, psychologist Narinj Rustamova, chairman of the Center for Autism Association and psychological preparation Chichak Gazanfargizi greeted guests.
In the unofficial part it was organized entertaining music, shows, cartoon characters, hilarious clowns for a great time of younger guests, who get various gifts.
