Cycling Federation of Azerbaijan and Baku Olympic Stadium have organized together the competition has been launched on the roads around the stadium. Two-day "opening race of the season" in the clubs and societies within the federation covered more than 100 athletes in various age groups.
Athletes under the age group of 15 had 20 km race from the Olympic School of Sport #8. First finisher was Emil Aliyev, 2nd - Fadail Mahmudov. Third finish was made by member of Specialized Children and Youth School, Nikita Sitov.
Juniors U-17, U-23 and elite cyclists competing in the category 60 km. Representative of Children and Youth School Yunus Vezirov took the highest step of the podium. Another representative of the above-mentioned school Bakir Dadashov got bronze. Representative of Olympic School No. 8 Naperstkov Maxim was 2nd.
